She looked back to wave, having passed the security check point, acquiring her boarding pass and mustering her courage. "What an adventure we will have!" she thought to herself. Lack of sleep the night before and a general sense of anxiety would not deter her now, she had been waiting so very long for this moment of exploration....
And so, after many hours a flight (spent watching Tangled, K-Pop performances, and the peculiar people one finds on such a trip), much confusion and a bit of frustration over the trains (because there were many), and one very kind but not bilingual taxi ride later, she and her traveling companions were able to rest and dream of the happenings they'd experienced thus far.
The next morning, they journeyed onwards to the University and were shown their accommodations. The charming little apartments were just the right size (she certainly wouldn't wish them to become any larger or smaller). Unpacking the few possessions she brought with her and catching up with the other side of the world has already made the place feel like home.
So now, after stopping for a lovely breakfast and a much needed cup of tea at the convenient nearby restaurant, our heroine (or anti-heroine... she has yet to decided which) is ready to explore further down the rabbit hole and to see what she may discover~
