One more week of classes and one week of exams, then it's the long walk.
Her dear father and sister are traveling up--just like for her last graduation.
She received her acceptance to JET and is now awaiting the official placement for where she'll be leaving to when she departs the U.S. on August 3rd.
All's quiet on the Eastern Front, but God is changing her heart to remain satisfied in Him and not longing after what-could-be's.
She can't wait for this summer and catching up with friends and (as cheesy as it sounds) making memories with the people she loves before she leaves.
She has peace about leaving, but she's surely going to miss her comrade in arms.
As someone so... elegantly put it, this is "not her first rodeo". She's been down the rabbit hole before, and she's excited for the chance to explore and appreciate more fully things she had enjoyed before, as well as learning a great many more things. You can learn a lot of things from the flowers, you know.
And at the same time, her previous excursions had more or less an established termination point, and an understood life to return too and pick up again. From here on out, she's striking off down the same rabbit hole, sure, but she's also going to be passing through her fair share of looking glasses before she settles in a "home" again.
Who knows, maybe that home really will be the custom Crow's Nest book tower~
